Flyga i Bulgarien

Några inspel jag fått från piloter jag mäjlat som varit i Bulgarien:

Hi, I went to Bulgaria in 2007. The best place for XC and general flying is Sopot http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sopot,_Plovdiv_Province which is on the Stara Planina mountain range. There is a ski type lift to the take off which makes things nice and easy. The XC potential is great. I visited some other places on a different range called the Rodopi Mountains but these were quite difficult to get to I and don't remember the places.

There are great friendly guides (and outstanding pilots) in Sopot. Niki Yotov runs the outfit skynomad http://www.skynomad.com/. He can at least give you more advice even if you don't use him on accommodation and flying etc. It is possible to hire cars in Bulgaria but best to do it in the cities don't wait until the country like I did ... Bulgaria would be very very cheap compared to Sweden ...

Kolla med classe i njord, han har varit dit med Oggy ett flertal gånger, jag var dit 2002 och då bodde vi i Montana och flög från Vratza och ett berg som heter Kom. fina flygställen och billigt att vara där
